We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our remote team. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Java. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web applications and web services/APIs by designing and executing automated tests. Your expertise in Java and automated testing will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and robustness of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java for web applications and web services/APIs
- Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products
- Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner
- Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software changes and updates
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities within an agile development environment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automated testing processes and practices
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on software quality to support decision-making processes
- Document test results, defects, and testing activities for traceability and reporting purposes
- Mentor and coach junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing goals and priorities
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automated testing, with a strong focus on Java-based automated testing frameworks
- Proven expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and Test Automation Framework Architecture
- Strong knowledge of web service/API testing and experience with tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Proficiency in JavaScript for test automation scripting and development
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions
- Expertise in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Java for backend and frontend testing
- Experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution in an agile development environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
