We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our team. This role is well suited for a meticulous professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, well-tested software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen testing practices and drive continuous improvement throughout the development process. Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts to validate application functionality across various scenarios
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and clarify testing requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze test results to detect defects, recurring patterns, and opportunities for quality improvement
- Maintain and refine automation frameworks to ensure long-term reliability and adaptability
- Contribute to establishing quality standards and testing best practices across projects
- Participate in sprint planning and review sessions to align testing activities with delivery timelines
- Document test cases, scenarios, and outcomes to support traceability and knowledge sharing within the team
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and approaches to enhance testing coverage and efficiency
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks for designing and executing structured test scenarios
- Hands-on experience with Karate for automating API testing and validation
- Experience with Serenity BDD for building and executing automated behavior-driven tests
- Experience building or working within test automation frameworks to support scalable and maintainable testing processes
- Knowledge of data analytics applied to quality metrics to support data-informed quality decisions
- Familiarity with GenAI tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf, to support and enhance testing workflows
- Knowledge of agile methodologies or frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure application safety
- An AI certification, preferably in Copilot, with additional certifications in Claude, Gemini, GPT, Grok, or similar tools considered a plus
