Senior Automation Test Engineer in Java

We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated Senior Automation Test Engineer with specialized experience in Java to join our remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for functional, automated, and performance testing, following the QA generalist concept. Our team focuses on automated and performance testing for REST API using Java, Spring, Maven, TestNG, RESTAssured, and JMeter.
Responsibilities
- Create automated software tools to verify and quantify the quality of the produced software
- Uncover, document, and track defects
- Improve test case execution efficiency and test coverage
- Perform automated Functional, Performance, and End to End Product and System tests
- Create training documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
- Integrate QA processes into Software Development and Release Cycles
- Troubleshoot issues in live, high availability systems
- Collaborate with the CI team to design ideal strategies for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Java development
- Solid working experience in developing test automation scripts using object-oriented frameworks (Java, Selenium, TestNG, Maven, and JMeter)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SQS, Kinesis, API Gateway, and Cloudwatch, as well as AWS step function testing
- Experience in automating RESTful APIs and testing of front end, microservices, and serverless applications
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Spring Boot
- Familiarity with the CI/CD process
- B2+ English level proficiency
