We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Platform Administrator to manage and optimize our Jira Cloud environment while supporting our software, system, and test engineering teams.

Responsibilities
- Manage and configure Jira Cloud environments to meet organizational needs
- Review and improve existing workflows, permission schemes, and automation rules
- Set up and maintain Jira projects, schemes, workflows, permissions, and notifications
- Document existing and newly created processes in Jira
- Monitor and troubleshoot Jira Cloud issues to ensure timely resolutions
- Create new users, assign permissions, and manage projects
- Control changes in permission schemes, screens, and workflows using automation and scripting
- Develop and implement automation for project and workflow creation or modification
- Support and enhance Python scripts using Atlassian Python APIs
- Coordinate with engineering teams to fulfill project requirements
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of Jira Cloud environments
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Atlassian Cloud administration
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting and Jira plugins
- Background in project management with Atlassian tools
- Proficiency in application support related to Jira Service Management
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- English language proficiency at the B2 Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- Certification in Atlassian administration
- Experience with Atlassian Python APIs
- Familiarity with other Atlassian products such as Confluence
- Understanding of ITIL processes
- Background in software or system engineering
