We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Platform Administrator to manage and migrate Jira and Confluence environments to Atlassian Cloud.
You will work closely with engineering and security teams to ensure seamless cloud migration while optimizing platform performance and security. If you are passionate about Atlassian tools and cloud technologies, apply to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day administration of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
- Configure workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, and automation rules
- Manage Marketplace apps and integrations with enterprise systems
- Execute migration from Server/Data Center to Atlassian Cloud using Cloud Migration Assistant
- Perform data cleanup, archiving, and consolidation during migrations
- Validate migrated data and resolve post-migration discrepancies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity
- Implement SSO/SAML, MFA, and SCIM user provisioning for secure access
- Configure IP allowlisting, encryption, and compliance settings
- Monitor system health and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Handle complex troubleshooting for workflows, permissions, and integrations
Requirements
- Hands-on experience administering Jira and Confluence for 3+ years
- Strong knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence configuration
- Practical experience migrating Atlassian Server/Data Center to Cloud
- Proficiency with Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistant and API-based migration
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and scripting languages such as Python and Groovy
- Knowledge of identity and security protocols including SSO/SAML, MFA, and user provisioning via Okta or Azure AD
- Basic understanding of Linux, networking, and SSL certificates
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- English language proficiency B2 (Upper-Intermediate)

- Background in Agile and DevOps environments
