We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Appium to enhance our team.
The ideal candidate possesses a solid background in creating, refining, and managing automated test frameworks for mobile applications. This role involves working collaboratively with developers, product teams, and QA professionals to deliver high-quality mobile applications using advanced automation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design automated test frameworks for iOS and Android mobile applications
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA professionals to enhance app quality
- Execute automated test scripts, analyze outcomes, and document defects accurately
- Report issues and oversee the defect lifecycle to ensure resolutions in a timely manner
- Improve automation frameworks, tools, and processes for optimization
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and align input with sprint deliverables
- Provide extensive test coverage for features, updates, and regressions
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in automated testing with Java and Appium
- Understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and coding standards
- Proficiency in mobile UI/UX testing on iOS and Android platforms
- Background in cloud testing using tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
- Familiarity with API testing using Postman or RestAssured and handling JSON data
- Competency in integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sharp attention to detail
- Communication skills tailored for cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge of testing mobile network conditions and handling related errors
- Flexibility to enhance test automation frameworks effectively
- Proficiency in English at B2+ level

- Background in contributing to the initial design phase of mobile automation projects
- Knowledge of tools for evaluating mobile app performance
- Expertise in developing proprietary mobile testing frameworks or supporting open-source testing platforms
