We are looking for a proactive remote Senior Application Support Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Application Support with Oracle WebLogic and JBoss.
The ideal candidate should have excellent client-facing skills, a strong understanding of distributed environments, and solid experience with Bash scripting, Linux, and SQL. It is essential to have experience with ESB, Load Balancing, Reverse Proxies, and Clustering.
Responsibilities
- Keeping the applications that support the business up and running per service level agreements
- Being proactive in taking action and leading them to a final solution
- Performing Application Support maintenance as required to support application availability requirements
- Performing bug fixing on existing applications, with Java Maintenance experience
- Maintaining an e-commerce platform in a healthy state considering the different integrations with Backend services and its components at the OS, Database, and JVM Levels
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Application Support with Oracle WebLogic and JBoss
- Experience with Linux systems and automation experience using Bash/Shell Scripting
- Experience with Application Servers using SQL
- Excellent client-facing skills
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience in the implementation and administration of Applications with Multiple integrations (ESB, Load Balancing, Reverse Proxies, Clustering, etc.)
