Our company is looking for a remote Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will provide level 2 application support, monitor applications handle alerts from monitoring systems, and manage incidents through problem determination and resolution.
Responsibilities
- Provide level 2 application support of retail Supply Chain and Integration applications, such as Tibco EMS and Order Management system
- Monitor applications and handle alerts from monitoring systems
- Manage incidents through problem determination, workaround resolution, and root cause analysis
- Participate in Major Incident Handling (bridge) calls
- Assist with incident management
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in application technical support
- Strong investigation and troubleshooting skills
- Good theoretical knowledge of Incident Management
- Practical experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool
- Practical experience with New Relic or similar monitoring tool
- Experience with Tibco EMS and IBM Sterling platforms
- Knowledge of any programming language, networking, and competence to read and understand node JS / Java source code
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of SQL
