We are looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer to build and evolve native Android apps using Kotlin and the Android SDK in a modern stack. You will partner with product, UX/UI, and backend engineers to ship intuitive interfaces and strong backend integrations, helping deliver reliable, scalable features; apply now.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin
- Partner with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, intuitive user interfaces aligned with Material Design guidelines
- Connect the app with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to provide dynamic content and features to mobile users
- Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Contribute actively to code reviews to uphold quality standards and share knowledge across the team
- Create unit and UI tests to validate application stability
- Analyze app performance to improve speed, battery consumption, and memory usage
- Support the preparation and publishing of application updates to the Google Play Store
Requirements
- Professional experience of 3+ years in native Android application development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android SDK
- Solid understanding of modern Android architecture components and patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture
- Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection using Hilt/Dagger and with Coroutines/Flow
- Practical familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, and Git
- Working knowledge of Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts
- Proven experience using JUnit and Espresso for testing purposes
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum team and collaborate using Jira and Confluence
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
