We are looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer to build and evolve native Android apps with a modern Kotlin-first stack. You will collaborate with product, UX/UI, and backend engineers to deliver scalable features, optimize performance, and keep releases flowing smoothly—apply now.
Responsibilities
- Build and support high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin
- Partner with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, intuitive screens aligned with Material Design guidelines
- Integrate the app with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to enable dynamic features and content
- Produce clean, maintainable, and testable codebases
- Contribute to code reviews to uphold quality standards and share knowledge across the team
- Develop unit and UI tests to keep the application stable and reliable
- Analyze performance to improve speed, battery efficiency, and memory usage
- Support preparation and rollout of application updates to the Google Play Store
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience building native Android applications for 3+ years
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin with deep knowledge of the Android SDK
- Solid background in modern Android architecture components and patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture
- Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection using Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow
- Working knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, and Git for day-to-day development
- Practical experience implementing UI with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts
- Proven ability to write tests using JUnit and Espresso
- Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum setup and collaborating via Jira and Confluence
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or above
