We are seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to lead the creation, optimization, and upkeep of native Android apps built with Kotlin and the Android SDK. You will deliver polished UI and reliable backend integrations by partnering with product, UX/UI, and backend teams to turn ideas into scalable Android applications—apply now.
Responsibilities
- Build and support high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, intuitive interfaces aligned with Material Design guidelines
- Integrate applications with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic content and features to mobile users
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards and share knowledge across the team
- Create unit and UI tests to ensure application stability
- Evaluate app performance to improve speed, battery consumption, and memory usage
- Assist with preparing and releasing application updates to the Google Play Store
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with 3+ years of native Android application development
- Solid proficiency in Kotlin with deep knowledge of the Android SDK
- Strong understanding of modern Android architecture components and patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture
- Practical knowledge of Dependency Injection with Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow
- Working familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, and Git
- Proven experience with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts
- Demonstrated experience with JUnit and Espresso for testing
- Ability to excel in an Agile/Scrum team and collaborate using Jira and Confluence
- English proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
