We are seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to build, optimize, and maintain native Android apps using a modern Kotlin-centered stack. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend partners to deliver reliable, high-performing mobile features—apply now to help shape a seamless Android experience.
Responsibilities
- Design native Android features using Kotlin and Android platform capabilities
- Build scalable app components aligned with modern architecture patterns
- Implement intuitive UI based on Material Design with Jetpack Compose or XML
- Integrate backend microservices through RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to team code reviews
- Create unit and UI tests to ensure stability and prevent regressions
- Profile and optimize performance, memory usage, and battery consumption
- Support release preparation and publish updates to the Google Play Store
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features
- Use Android Studio, Gradle, and Git to develop and maintain the codebase
Requirements
- 3+ years of native Android development experience
- Strong Kotlin for Android skills and Android SDK knowledge
- Senior-level ownership and mentoring skills within an engineering team
- Agile project experience working in Scrum with Jira and Confluence
- Modern Android architecture knowledge (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture)
- Dependency injection expertise with Hilt or Dagger
- Coroutines and Flow experience for asynchronous programming
- Testing skills with unit and UI testing tools (JUnit, Espresso)
- Build tooling proficiency with Android Studio and Gradle
- Version control skills using Git and code review practices
- Communication and collaboration skills with product, design, and backend partners
- English proficiency at B2 Upper-Intermediate
Nice to have
- Experience with GraphQL API consumption on Android
- Experience writing and maintaining CI-friendly Android test suites
