Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and enhance the quality of features in our Android app
- Actively participate in code reviews, evaluating code quality, flexibility, and employing advanced object-oriented programming techniques
- Champion continuous improvement and continuous delivery within our agile development team
- Craft automated unit, system, and acceptance tests to bolster our continuous integration pipelines
- Transform functional specifications into cohesive, component-based technical designs
Requirements
- Hold a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in the Android environment, and feature development in Java or Kotlin
- Possess proficiency in API service connection paradigms
- Understand client/server architectures and stay abreast of cutting-edge technologies like Jetpack Compose and GraphQL
- Embrace diverse challenges as a skilled software engineer
- Exhibit an upper-intermediate level of proficiency in the English language
Nice to have
- Proven experience in building and deploying Android apps to the Play Store
- Familiarity with Firebase for cloud messaging and other services
- Exposure to reactive programming frameworks such as RxJava or LiveData
- Knowledge of Android TV or Wear OS development
