Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and quality assurance of Android app features
- Engage in comprehensive code reviews, emphasizing quality and flexibility, while applying advanced object-oriented programming techniques
- Champion continuous improvement and delivery in our agile software development process
- Create automated unit, system, and acceptance tests to bolster our continuous integration pipelines
- Transform functional specifications into cohesive, component-based technical designs
Requirements
- Hold a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Accumulate 3+ years of hands-on experience in the Android environment
- Development proficiency in Java or Kotlin
- Exhibit expertise in API service connection paradigms and grasp client/server architectures
- Showcase proficiency with innovative technologies like Jetpack Compose and GraphQL
- Embrace diverse challenges as a skilled software engineer with an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency
Nice to have
- Previous experience in building and deploying Android apps to the Play Store
- Familiarity with Firebase for cloud messaging and other services
- Proficiency in reactive programming frameworks such as RxJava or LiveData
- Knowledge of Android TV or Wear OS development
