We are seeking a Senior Android Developer with strong technical skills to join our remote team.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will contribute to the team by technically designing, writing, and testing mobile native code. You will be responsible for making entirely decoupled modules that work in tandem with other modules. In this role, you will work closely with your home squad and will be the source of your work.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and test high-quality mobile applications for Android
Write clean and maintainable code that is scalable, reliable, and efficient
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the best user experience for our customers
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality
Pair program with other developers in a TDD setting
Take ownership of modules and ensure that they work seamlessly with other modules
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android development

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Android Developer
Strong experience in Android Jetpack
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
A can-do attitude and willingness to work independently and in a team
Strong skills in peer review and test-driven development (TDD)
Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior developers
Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
