We're looking for a Senior AI Data Engineer to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus, in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will bridge the gap between data science experimentation and enterprise-grade production systems for AI solutions. You will design, implement and maintain scalable AI workflows that integrate seamlessly into business operations, ensuring compliance, reliability and performance. This is a key opportunity to contribute to building production-grade AI systems that drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI workflows combining models, enterprise data, APIs and business logic
- Implement and optimize prompt engineering strategies, including testing and versioning
- Build and maintain production-ready AI/ML deployment pipelines (MLOps)
- Ensure scalability, observability and compliance for AI solutions
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications and APIs for seamless workflows
- Establish and maintain best practices for change control, model governance and explainability
- Collaborate with data scientists, actuaries and business teams to validate AI models and outputs
- Troubleshoot AI systems, improve performance and ensure cost efficiency in large-scale deployments
- Apply security and regulatory guardrails across all AI-driven solutions
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for building AI-driven workflows
- Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering for LLM-based solutions
- Deep understanding of Machine Learning and practical productionization experience
- Expertise in MLOps, including deployment and monitoring of AI models at scale
- Experience developing Generative AI solutions for enterprise environments
- Advanced knowledge of APIs and integration for connecting AI systems to business workflows
- Ability to design robust, secure and scalable AI systems with full observability
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI governance, compliance and explainability frameworks
- Background in (Re)Insurance IT ecosystems and related data flows
