Senior Accessibility Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accessibility Specialist to join our team in enhancing user experiences by ensuring our digital products comply with industry accessibility standards.

This role is integral to building inclusive, functional, and engaging digital interfaces for all audiences, including individuals with disabilities. If you have a strong passion for accessibility and expertise in integrating a11y practices into design and development workflows, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with UX and development teams to deliver digital experiences that meet accessibility goals and standards
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and address accessibility barriers
  • Ensure digital products meet compliance with WCAG AA, ADA, and Section 508 accessibility standards
  • Recommend and validate accessibility requirements using tools such as Miro, Figma, and Jira
  • Share feedback and guidance with design and engineering teams to advocate for accessibility best practices
  • Document findings and track the progress of accessibility initiatives across multiple projects
  • Assist in the development of training materials to improve project team awareness of accessibility principles
  • Monitor and implement accessibility trends and emerging technologies to enhance user experience
  • Provide expert analysis of potential accessibility risks during various stages of development
Requirements
  • 3+ years of working experience in accessibility or related fields
  • Proven experience in applying accessibility requirements to digital projects
  • Familiarity with Miro, Figma, and Jira for documentation, collaboration, and requirements validation
  • Understanding of development methodologies and agile processes
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

  • Experience with eCommerce sites
  • Showcase of expertise in building accessible interfaces for diverse user groups
  • Familiarity with screen readers or assistive technologies to validate accessibility measures
