Currently, we are looking for a remote Scrum Master to join our global team.
The customer is a leading wholesale provider of reinsurance, insurance and other insurance-based forms of risk transfer. Dealing direct and working through brokers, its global client base consists of insurance companies, mid-to-large-sized corporations and public sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Managing product releases, including release scope and timeline negotiation
- Validating and estimating product requirements with the team, matching them with the release scope and roadmap
- Gathering stream status, taking required actions, removing or escalating blockers
- Managing risks from risk identification to taking an action
- Managing change requests
- Providing regular status reports to the senior management
- Managing communications with US & UE - based stakeholders
- Organising and facilitating Scrum ceremonies: Daily meetings, Backlog refinement sessions, Sprint planning and Sprint review meetings, Retrospectives
- Coordinating staffing and onboarding of new resources
- Tracking team performance and acting on improvements, including motivation and inspiration
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Scrum
- 3+ years' experience in Project Management
- 1+ year of leadership experience
- Understanding of Agile Project management methodologies
- Knowledge of project planning tools and software packages to create, manage and track project results
- Experience in distributed teams’ management
- Expertise in creating and managing project schedules and resource allocation plans
- Acquaintance with project related risks management
- Experience working with DevOps Azure, Confluence
