We are seeking an SAP UI5 Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the creation of innovative web applications that streamline business processes within areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering.
This role emphasizes expertise in SAP UI5 and Fiori, with a strong focus on collaborating with backend teams to deliver efficient, user-friendly interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop user interfaces using SAP UI5 and Fiori, delivering responsive and dynamic experiences
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate applications with OData services and RESTful APIs
- Design and implement reusable UI components aligned with SAP Fiori design principles
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored UI solutions
- Optimize application performance and resolve technical issues for scalability and reliability
- Ensure development aligns with best practices and operational standards
- Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Document technical designs and workflows to promote shared knowledge across teams
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori application development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Expertise in OData services, JSON, and RESTful APIs for backend integration
- Familiarity with SAP Web IDE or SAP Business Application Studio for development
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP Core Data Services (CDS)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
