- Lead and mentor a development team responsible for delivering commercial software solutions
- Drive the end-to-end development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, QA engineers, UX specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products
- Translate complex product roadmap features into actionable technical components and development plans
- Promote engineering best practices, code quality standards, and scalable microservice architecture
- Guide the team in analyzing, investigating, and resolving production issues, customer requests, and technical challenges
- Assess issue severity, coordinate resolution efforts, and maintain ownership through successful closure
- Prioritize and manage multiple production incidents and customer requests across various sources while delegating tasks effectively
- Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and solution design activities
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize development processes, tools, and delivery practices
- 7+ years of experience in developing web-based applications, including experience leading or coordinating development teams
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
- Hands-on experience designing and developing web APIs using API-first principles, including REST, GraphQL, and Swagger/OpenAPI
- Practical experience with SAP Fiori development, including SAPUI5, OData, and CAP CDS
- Advanced knowledge of Java Spring Boot and web service development
- Experience working with SAP HANA databases
- Experience using modern development and DevOps tools, including GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet, and Chef
- Understanding of deployment environments, application configuration, and change management processes
- Ability to work confidently with relational database management systems
- Ability to apply Agile development practices using version control platforms such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using project and issue tracking tools such as Jira for defect management and delivery coordination
