We are seeking a SAP R2R Solution Architect with expertise in SAP FICO to join our remote team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SAP solutions for our clients, ensuring that they meet their business needs. You will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from pre-sales and implementation project governance to troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Responsibilities
- Provide governance and methodologies for R2R architecture domain to ensure consistency, communication, and cooperation
- Support assessment of current customer solutions and potential areas of opportunity for SAP solution implementation
- Develop and adjust Record-to-Report (R2R) functional requirements and identify related IT and business enablers
- Participate in the customer engagement lifecycle and act as an integral member of the account engagement team
- Define and integrate business, data, application, and technical R2R architecture domain
- Lead/support the target architecture and customer roadmap development and maintain alignment with SAP solutions
- Proactively introduce innovation topics to solve specific customer needs
- Build personal customer relationships and support EPAM sales team in detailed customer (solution) discovery discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of practical hands-on experience in SAP FICO and R2R development
- At least 2 projects in a technical team lead role with constant hands-on work during the last 3 years
- Minimum of 1 years experience as a Software Architect or a related role
- Expertise in SAP Controlling and Financial Accounting
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA for central finance
- Ability to identify R2R-related business opportunities and solution gaps, as well as develop gap closure options
- High-level understanding of budgeting and S&OP processes, cost allocation methods, and fast-closing approaches
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with customer IT and business organizations
- Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- High-level understanding of products capabilities, functionality, and technologies of SAP S/4HANA (Logistics), CFin, PaPM, BPC, IBP, and related deployment options
- High-level understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting processes and principles
- Knowledge of sales process cycle, account, and go-to-market planning in IT service sales
- Expertise in frameworks: PMP, SAP Architectural and Design Thinking, TOGAF
