We are seeking a skilled remote SAP R2R Software Architect, with expertise in SAP FICO, to become a part of our team.
In this position, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating the deployment of SAP applications, encompassing SAP Controlling, SAP Financial Accounting, and SAP S/4HANA for central finance. Moreover, you'll be tasked with promoting architecture governance and techniques to guarantee uniformity, communication, and collaboration within the R2R architectural domain.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistency, communication, and cooperation in the R2R architecture domain by providing governance and methodologies
- Assess current customer solutions and identify opportunities for SAP solution implementation
- Create and modify Record-to-Report (R2R) functional requirements while identifying IT and business enablers
- Act as a vital member of the account engagement team throughout the customer engagement lifecycle
- Incorporate business, data, application, and technical aspects within the R2R architecture domain
- Develop and maintain alignment with SAP solutions by leading/supporting target architecture and customer roadmap development
- Address specific customer needs by actively introducing innovative topics
- Strengthen personal customer relationships and aid EPAM sales team in thorough customer (solution) discovery discussions
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO and R2R development
- Technical team lead role in a minimum of 2 projects with ongoing hands-on work in the past 3 years
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Software Architect or a similar position
- Proficiency in SAP Controlling and Financial Accounting
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA for central finance
- Ability to pinpoint R2R-related business opportunities, solution gaps, and develop gap closure alternatives
- Comprehensive understanding of budgeting and S&OP processes, cost allocation techniques, and fast-closing approaches
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities for working with customer IT and business organizations
- Proficiency in English with an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- Broad understanding of product capabilities, functionality, and technologies related to SAP S/4HANA (Logistics), CFin, PaPM, BPC, IBP, and deployment options
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting processes and principles
- Familiarity with the sales process cycle, account planning, and go-to-market strategies in IT service sales
- Expertise in frameworks such as PMP, SAP Architectural and Design Thinking, and TOGAF
