We are looking for an experienced SAP BI Team Lead with expertise in SAP HANA modeling, SAP Analysis for Office (AfO), SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). In this role, you will lead a team of BI consultants, collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, and contribute to the successful implementation of BI, planning, and reporting solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring knowledge transfer from the client team and building and maintaining a knowledge database to support the new team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP BI consultants, providing technical guidance and best practices
- Contribute to technical and functional design within several squads (Plan, Expenses, Reporting) of the Financial Production
- Identify potential risks, monitor existing issues, and put in place the appropriate mitigation plan
- Provide technical expertise and support developments to ensure their quality and consistency as a key expert advisor
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP BPC for planning and consolidation processes
- Develop and enhance SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards and reports
- Support and optimize SAP Analysis for Office reports, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Ensure smooth integration of BI solutions with SAP S/4HANA and other data sources
- Facilitate knowledge transfer from the client team, documenting key processes and best practices
- Establish and maintain a knowledge database, ensuring team documentation is accurate and up to date
- Contribute to the performance optimization and data accuracy in BI reporting and analytics
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of BI tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BI solutions, with a focus on HANA, BPC, SAC, and AfO
- Proven experience leading BI teams and projects
- Expertise in SAP BPC (Embedded) for planning and consolidation
- Hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud data modeling, dashboarding, and predictive analytics
- Understanding of SAP Analysis for Office and financial/operational reporting
- Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA integration, and data connectivity
- Experience in knowledge transfer and documentation to ensure smooth team transitions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- SAP BPC or SAC certification
- Background in SAP BW/4HANA and HANA modeling
- Knowledge of scripting and automation in SAC or BPC
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management best practices
