As a Salesforce Solution Architect within EPAM Salesforce Practice, you will collaborate with business teams, gather business requirements, identify core business needs, design and communicate solutions, break down features and estimate efforts. Your role involves documenting the architectural design, leading the development process, and monitoring evolving requirements.
Our Salesforce team operates across multiple locations, employing Agile methodologies to deliver innovative solutions based on industry and technology best practices. We cater to a variety of industries, offering Salesforce solutions for retail, media, healthcare, finance, information services, among others.
- Design and deliver technical solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines
- Engage actively with business partners to comprehend business requirements and deliver innovative and efficient solutions
- Collaborate with various technology teams (Development, Infrastructure, PMO, etc.) to conceptualize and implement scalable and sustainable technical solutions using Salesforce technologies
- Lead a development team to create and implement innovative solutions while adhering to standards, best practices, and code quality techniques
- Establish and enhance development standards and processes
- Maintain expertise in the functionality and solution architecture
- Manage the detailed design of technical solutions, Proof-of-Concepts (POC), prototyping, and documentation of technical design throughout the SDLC process
- Develop and sustain effective working relationships with key technology team members
- Develop prototypes to support solution architecture activities
- Partner with other architects, vendors, partners, and both business and technical teams to translate business needs into capability/platform roadmaps and work towards realizing these roadmaps
- Assist in triaging and remedying defects for scheduled releases and production
- Support Salesforce platform management tasks like app evaluations, profiles/org hierarchy design, system integration, capacity planning, and defining SLA measurements
- Promote best practices, governance measures, and patterns for custom and configured solutions on the Salesforce platform
- 5+ years of combined IT experience
- 2+ years of architecture experience across various Salesforce clouds (Sales, Marketing, Service, and Platform clouds etc.) and lightning components
- 3+ years of development experience on the Salesforce platform (Apex, Visualforce, etc.)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce technologies (clouds, offerings, custom development, integration, etc.)
- Certification in SFDC Architect, Advanced Developer, and/or Developer is highly preferred
- Background in web development skills (HTMLCSS/JavaScript)
- Qualifications in JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery) preferred
- Proficiency in using Agile development methods and practices
- Capability to foster new ideas and concepts
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate strong opinions and constraints to reach a commonly agreed solution design
- Capacity to mentor and coach other team members
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English or higher
