We are seeking a skilled Python Web Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining web applications while contributing to cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on both development and operational tasks, supporting the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Take on a hybrid role involving 70% development and 30% operational tasks
- Migrate internal Docker images and their dependencies from GCR to Artifact Registry
- Upgrade Docker images and update application dependencies to ensure compatibility and security
- Address and resolve vulnerabilities in Python-based applications
- Audit and optimize privileges and configurations for cloud services using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Contribute to the migration from GCP to AWS and participate in disaster recovery exercises
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in a Software Developer or similar role
- Proficiency with EKS and AWS, including deployment and management of containerized applications
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, focusing on container orchestration and image management
- Strong programming skills in Python with the ability to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize applications
- Familiarity with authentication concepts and the ability to work on authentication solutions, such as OnePass to Azure B2C CIAM migrations
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with CloudFormation, SOC2, Jenkins, and Helm
- Knowledge of backing up and restoring PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch clusters
