We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Software Engineer (Backend) to join our team and contribute to enhancing and developing web platforms that deliver outstanding learning experiences to millions of users.

Responsibilities
  • Define new features and services using Python, gRPC, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and APIs
  • Enhance applications utilizing Gen AI, LLM, and AI Agents
  • Maintain clean, readable, and testable code while refining existing functionalities
  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure reliable code execution
  • Manage infrastructure through Terraform
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, focusing on engineers on the customer side
  • Review code and prepare detailed technical documentation
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficiency in Python and comprehensive knowledge of the language
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or major cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Competency in design patterns and algorithms, with a solid understanding of OOP/OOD principles
  • Background in web application development, with skills in databases and SQL
  • Understanding of Gen AI, LLM, or AI Agent platform development
  • Capability to work independently and adapt to ambiguity efficiently
  • Strong communication abilities to explain technical ideas clearly
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of gRPC and Terraform
  • Familiarity with Java
  • Skills in Typescript and Angular, with knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Expertise in internal tools and systems commonly used in Google environments
