We are seeking a Python Developer (AWS) to keep cloud systems stable, resolve production issues and deliver small enhancements on an AWS Lambda-based platform. You will work in a Scrum team supporting migration activities and improving reliability across AWS services in a client-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Python services running on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Lambda
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and deliver sustainable fixes
- Support migration-related activities and stabilize systems during change
- Deliver small features and enhancements from definition to release
- Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
- Partner with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and explain technical topics in plain language
- Maintain code quality through reviews, testing and documentation
- Monitor service health and support continuous improvement of reliability and performance
Requirements
- Proven experience with Python development in production environments
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and serverless services such as AWS Lambda
- Background in building and supporting APIs and integrating with cloud services
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot live issues and perform root cause analysis
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and delivering in short iterations
- Clear communication in English for client-facing collaboration
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Nice to have
- Experience with Amazon Connect
- Familiarity with observability practices including logging, monitoring and alerting
- Experience supporting cloud migration or modernization initiatives
