Are you an experienced Project Manager eager for a new challenge? EPAM is seeking a dynamic professional to join our team full-time and on-site in Hong Kong. If you have solid experience in project management, especially with Java development and cloud migration projects, we’d love to hear from you!
As our Project Manager, you’ll lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical projects that are critical to our success. You'll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives, all while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project management for Java development and cloud migration initiatives, covering planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
- Act as the main liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and team performance
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, QA, and infrastructure engineers
- Maintain documentation, generate reports, and deliver presentations in Cantonese and English, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
Requirements
- Experienced in managing technical projects, including Java development and Cloud migration (e.g., Azure)
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong project management skills: creating project plans, allocating resources, prioritizing tasks, and managing risks
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments, with strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
- Fluency in Cantonese (spoken and written) and proficiency in English for documentation and communication
Nice to have
- Experience managing hybrid or fully cloud-based environments
- Technical knowledge of Java frameworks and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
