We are seeking a remote Middle Project Manager with extensive managerial experience and technical background to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of projects, utilizing your experience in project management methodologies and cloud technologies. Your ability to lead, motivate, and mentor teams and your technical background will enable you to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, utilizing Agile methodologies and cloud technologies
- Identify and manage risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the project team and with stakeholders at all levels
- Monitor project progress, providing regular reports on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with project management best practices and standards
- Provide leadership, motivation, and mentorship to project team members, driving a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in a software or technology company, with experience in cloud technologies (not QA, Support, BA, Data Analysts)
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in project management
- Certified in PMP, PSM I, and SAFE Agilist, with an in-depth understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Experience in managing projects with a distributed team, using collaboration tools and techniques to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Excellent English language competence (Upper-Intermediate or higher), essential for communicating effectively across a global organization
Nice to have
- Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA, Asana, or Trello
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Experience with project management in a remote or distributed team environment
