We are seeking a highly motivated Middle Project Manager to join our remote team. As a Middle Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You must have a technical background of 5 years and 8-10 years of managerial experience in leading teams of diverse backgrounds. Additionally, you must have certifications such as PMP, PSM I, and SAFE Agilist and experience with cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, designers, and analysts, to deliver projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including project progress, risks, and issues
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other departments within the organization
- Manage project scope, including changes in scope, and ensure that the deliverables meet the agreed-upon quality standards
- Identify and resolve issues and risks, working with team members and stakeholders to develop effective solutions
- Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, including leading cross-functional teams of diverse backgrounds
- A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in software development, infrastructure, or a related field (not QA, Support, BA, Data Analysts)
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and practices with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Experience in cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with team members and stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members to achieve project goals
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Trello
- Experience with risk management, change management, and stakeholder management
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
- Experience with leading remote teams
