We're looking for a Programme Delivery Director – Technology to join our team in Doha, Qatar, in an office and client site working mode. In this role, you will lead and oversee large-scale client engagements across the region, ensuring successful delivery of complex programs that deliver tangible business value. You will hold full accountability for program outcomes, client relationships and commercial performance, while driving continuous improvement and building a high-performing leadership team. The role requires a strong balance of strategic oversight and technical depth to challenge decisions, resolve complex issues and collaborate effectively with senior engineering and business stakeholders.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of programs from initiation through completion in alignment with EPAM standards
- Manage client relationships at project, program and governance levels to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
- Identify and mitigate risks to maintain delivery quality and achieve objectives
- Develop and maintain program delivery plans, as well as proposals and statements of work
- Oversee multiple activity streams ensuring alignment with SDLC and IT service management processes
- Take ownership of delivery outcomes, including financial, sourcing, implementation, and compliance dimensions
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across locations to ensure estimates, roadmaps and retrospectives are consistently managed
- Batchelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science, , Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience leading large-scale, complex, multi-team programs (100+ FTE, multi-year duration)
- Proven success in delivering enterprise-level digital transformation programs for clients in a consulting environment
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets exceeding $10M annually
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud-native delivery (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Deep understanding of SDLC/PDLC frameworks and program management best practices
- Proficiency in agile delivery at scale (SAFe, LeSS, or equivalent) with adaptability to hybrid models
- Ability to engage credibly in architectural and technical discussions
- Familiarity with leveraging AI solutions to enhance digital transformation initiatives
- Executive-level communication and influencing abilities with VP and C-level stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both Arabic and English
- Proven commercial acumen to manage contractual negotiations, scope changes and commercial strategies
- Experience working in the oil & gas sector
- Background in global system integrator delivery models
- Exposure to pre-sales activities, solutioning, or shaping complex commercial deals
