We're looking for a Program Manager - Trading & Supply to join our team in London, United Kingdom in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will own portfolio-level accountability for multiple workstreams in a complex, regulated energy-trading environment. You will drive delivery governance, commercial oversight and stakeholder engagement while ensuring compliance with rigorous control frameworks. This is a strategic position requiring deep knowledge of IT delivery, regulatory considerations and operational excellence across global trading platforms.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all client stakeholders on EPAM delivery topics, ensuring unified and timely communication
- Lead governance activities including status reporting, KPI tracking, risk management and milestone alignment across multiple workstreams
- Drive monthly governance forums and Quarterly Business Reviews with domain-specific and program-level reporting
- Own escalations end to end, executing corrective actions and maintaining delivery stability while protecting team focus
- Plan, execute and control programs using the client’s Project Delivery Framework, ensuring compliance and robust audit trails
- Manage scope, budget, schedule, risk and benefits across the portfolio, applying effective change control mechanisms
- Coordinate transitions of scope into EPAM ownership through structured knowledge transfer and capability assessments
- Lead vendor consolidation efforts by integrating split scope, rationalizing processes, and stabilizing delivery models
- Ensure portfolio delivery at scale with multiple concurrent initiatives, complex dependencies and critical timelines
- Maintain operational resilience within highly regulated, real-time trading environments where delivery accuracy is paramount
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in IT with proven success delivering large, complex programs across enterprise environments
- Expertise in portfolio management, governance frameworks and financial control for multi-million-dollar programs
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage executive sponsors and navigate challenging conversations
- Deep understanding of regulated trading environments, including compliance-driven IT operations and risk mitigation practices
- Proficiency in program planning, RAID management and structured delivery methodologies
- Strong knowledge of resource management, financial forecasting and P&L accountability
- Experience in vendor consolidation, transition planning and operating within multi-supplier landscapes
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-project dependencies and deliver integrated solutions under constrained release windows
- Excellent oral and written communication, leadership skills and conflict resolution capabilities
- Hands-on experience with governance reporting, KPI dashboards and IT audit compliance
Nice to have
- Exposure to energy trading or commodities environments
- Familiarity with ETRM platforms and downstream or renewables technology portfolios
- Experience working with Project Delivery Frameworks and SOX compliance in trading systems
- Ability to lead process optimization and transition risk management efficiently
