We are looking for a Product Manager / Product Owner to take end-to-end ownership of a complex Bill of Materials web application with critical financial calculations and limited existing documentation. You will drive discovery, documentation, and delivery while serving as the single source of truth for business logic—apply now to help shape the product’s evolution.
Responsibilities
- Own the product’s business logic, including financial calculations, formulas, and summarization rules
- Analyze and validate mathematical and monetary calculations to ensure accuracy across rounding and aggregation
- Reverse-engineer application behavior to uncover undocumented business processes and system dependencies
- Document end-to-end business flows, including happy paths, edge cases, errors, and exception handling
- Build and maintain a living knowledge base covering rules, decision trees, process maps, and calculation logic
- Lead discovery sessions to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
- Translate needs into EPICs and user stories with clear scope, value, and acceptance criteria in Gherkin
- Prioritize and refine the backlog to align stakeholder expectations with delivery capacity
- Ensure requirements traceability from discovery through implementation and validation
- Set expectations on scope, timelines, and trade-offs while addressing concerns professionally
- Facilitate alignment across conflicting stakeholder opinions and drive decisions with composure
- Create user-facing documentation such as manuals, guides, and FAQs to enable self-service adoption
Requirements
- 7+ years of business analysis experience with product ownership responsibilities
- Proven leadership skills to facilitate workshops and drive decisions with stakeholders
- Strong project skills to manage scope, priorities, timelines, and trade-offs across delivery
- Advanced numerical analysis skills to validate financial formulas, rounding, and aggregation logic
- Hands-on requirements engineering skills to write EPICs, user stories, and Gherkin acceptance criteria
- Strong documentation skills to reverse-engineer legacy behavior into process maps, rules, and user guides
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to handle conflict, pushback, and high-friction communication
- High attention to detail with monetary data, edge cases, and exception handling
- Self-driven mindset to work autonomously in ambiguity and incomplete information
- English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate)
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess risks, assumptions, and impacts across requirements
Nice to have
- Experience with financial or accounting applications or Bill of Materials systems
- Familiarity with ERP or supply chain domains
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar tools
- Basic SQL or data querying skills to validate calculations independently
- Experience with legacy system migrations or modernization initiatives
