We're seeking a Product Manager to drive product strategy and roadmap development for our comprehensive settlement platform. This role involves close collaboration with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Compliance, and engineering teams to design, construct, and expand systems supporting partner settlement, payouts, and essential finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Own and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the comprehensive settlement and payout platform
- Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to convert intricate financial and regulatory needs into scalable product solutions
- Guide complete product execution alongside engineering teams, spanning requirements gathering, design, development, launch, and refinement
- Construct auditable, configurable, and resilient settlement systems capable of supporting varied business models, fee structures, promotions, and market growth
- Establish and track success metrics including settlement accuracy, reconciliation latency, dispute rate, and payout timeliness, while continuously enhancing platform performance
- Enhance transparency and build trust in settlement calculations through development of tools, reporting, and diagnostic capabilities for internal teams and external partners
- Balance trade-offs among speed, accuracy, compliance, and operational overhead, ensuring financial integrity remains uncompromised
- Guide prioritization efforts and convey roadmap decisions to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Undertake travel to Korea as needed
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years' experience with demonstrated success in launching and scaling complex systems and developing products
- Preferred background spans finance, accounting, fintech, payments, or marketplace/retail platforms
- Hands-on experience with financial systems, settlement, payout, reconciliation, or similar domains
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with comfort in working with data and metrics
- Proven capability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and business teams
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, along with strong stakeholder management skills
- Capacity to navigate ambiguous situations, establish clarity, and achieve results within a fast-paced setting
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable experience
- Fluency in business English, with Korean language skills considered advantageous
Nice to have
- MBA, Engineering degree, or other relevant advanced qualification
- Background in e-commerce, marketplace, or two-sided platform businesses
- Understanding of accounting, tax, treasury, or compliance processes within a multinational context
- Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation, and platform-focused product development
