Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle People Advisory Specialist with 2+ years of experience in managing an HR function in technology or commercial organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide support across all areas of Employee Relations including absence management, disciplinary, grievances, and performance management in accordance with Company values, policies, and procedures
- Build close relationships with the Talen Acquisition teams and Resource Managers to ensure talent and succession planning is effective and in place; stay close to people to understand what is driving and keep them committed and engaged when working for EPAM; understand issues and problems; help design and implement Employee Retention and Employee Engagement initiatives
- Maintain an up-to-date framework of policies and procedures that enable the business to employ, engage, develop, retain, and manage people in accordance with EPAM’s values
- Collect HR data and document workflow in a timely fashion
- Answer line managers' and employees' HR queries
- Acting as contact point for HR matters requiring specific subject matter knowledge
- Create and provide regular HR reports/scorecard and other data such as performance review reports, training hours per person, risk reduction reports, etc. to support decision making and actions; collaborate with the management to ensure best practice is in place; provide effective and efficient HR administration support to the group
- Design and implement learning and development framework that develops management teams' understanding of HR best practice across all areas and fosters a strong leadership culture; conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business and resource management heads
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in managing an HR function in technology or commercial organization
- Proven experience in building positive corporate culture in large companies could be a plus
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ambition to set high standards, work efficiently, pay attention to details and deliver quality
- Commitment to continuously listen and learn, to develop people, and to improve HR practices
- Good interpersonal skills to establish constructive relationships, build trust, and provide counsel in a thoughtful, sensitive and timely manner; be proactive, confident, energetic and positive
- Operate in an ethical manner, handle sensitive issues with proper care and confidentiality
- Strong business acumen, consulting, analytical, project management, communication, presentation, negotiation, conflict management and problem solving skills
- Take responsibility for own actions, support leadership in implementing the business agenda
- Ability to build rapport and influence decisions, developments and outcomes at all levels
- Result-oriented – understand what is important to staff, clients and management
- Computer literacy (Excel, Access, Word)
- Educational background within Human Resources or equivalent
- Fluency in English (B2+)
