We are looking for an Accountant with a finance or accounting background.
In this role, you will work with the global shared service Payroll team and engage in payroll payments, month-closure and other accounting-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll payments: domestic and foreign wire payments, batch and individual transfers
- Check the correctness of the executed payments, ensuring payments are maintained within deadlines
- Perform month-end closing activities
- Conduct bookkeeping of payroll and tax payments
- Reconcile bank accounts in SAP monthly
- Deal with payments requests and cooperate with banks, Treasury and Accounts Payable departments
- Cash management of payroll bank accounts
- Take part in regular improvement process activities with the IT development team, analyze areas of improvement, and test new improvements
Requirements
- Finance or accounting background
- 1+ years of accounting working experience
- Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel
- English level – B2 and higher, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- ACCA/DipIFR certifications
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experience with EU banking platforms
- Knowledge of payments monitoring
