We are looking for a NodeJS/ReactJS Software Architect to help guide improvements and maintain a digital asset management platform across both front and back end.

Responsibilities

Oversee technical planning for Central Ingest module updates to ensure scalability and durability
Establish and promote SDLC best practices among engineering team members
Steer design choices using data insights and coordinate proof-of-concept efforts
Assign engineering tasks for Central Ingest enhancements
Keep detailed technical documentation and inform internal teams of changes
Carry out development work when needed to achieve project objectives
Engage actively in meetings with clients and team members
Regulate system access in line with authorized user credentials
Commit code daily to internal GitHub repositories

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of practical hands-on experience in Node.js and React.js development
At least 1 year of experience as a Software Architect
Solid knowledge of creating and consuming JSON-based REST APIs
Background in event-driven programming and streaming design patterns
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Proficiency with Git version control and pull request processes
Understanding of multi-factor authentication integration methods
Practical experience in project coordination or management
Working knowledge of JIRA for breaking down work and tracking tasks
Ability to produce clear documentation and technical diagrams
Upper-Intermediate English (B2) for direct communication with clients

Nice to have

Experience with building and managing CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of GitHub workflow automation
Understanding of GraphQL API creation
Familiarity with Unix-like operating systems
