You own the day-to-day operation and production support of Murex MX.3, making sure trade capture, valuation, risk and market data processes run reliably through the trading day and end-of-day cycle. You are the escalation point for complex Front Office issues and valuation discrepancies, and the owner of the front-office support queue end-to-end.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support Murex Front Office processes, including trade capture, valuation, market data, risk and end-of-day processing
  • Act as escalation point for traders, risk managers and middle office on system issues, valuation discrepancies and data questions
  • Triage, investigate and resolve incidents on the platform and its interfaces to upstream and downstream systems (market data, risk, settlement, accounting)
  • Own the front-office support queue: coordinate L2/L3 incidents with the platform run team and the software vendor, manage escalations, and hold the SLA
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and drive permanent fixes with the development team and vendor support
  • Support end-of-day, month-end and market close processes so deadlines are consistently met
  • Maintain runbooks, escalation paths and on-call procedures
  • Support testing and operational readiness for platform upgrades, patches and vendor releases
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on Murex MX.3 experience, with strong Front Office functional and production support expertise
  • Proven track record supporting Murex MX.3 in production, with deep Front Office knowledge across trade capture, valuation, market data, P&L and risk processes
  • Strong knowledge of front-to-back trade lifecycle and Front Office processes. Commodities experience is advantageous but not required
  • Strong SQL and familiarity with Murex Datamart structures for data investigation and reporting
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture, including workflows, market data, interfaces/integration, Datamart and batch processing
  • Unix/Linux server environments and batch job monitoring
  • Basic scripting (shell, Python) for troubleshooting and automation
  • Incident, problem and change management (ITIL or equivalent); ITIL Foundation preferred
  • Language: fluent English required; German or French an asset
