Mobile (Android/iOS) Discipline Head

We are seeking a skilled Mobile (Android/iOS) Discipline Head to be a key member of our vibrant team.

As Chief Mobile (Android/iOS) Developer, your role involves crafting, building, and rolling out top-notch mobile solutions that cater to the needs of our clientele. Working in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be crucial to ensure the effective deployment of mobile applications and services. The desired candidate will possess extensive experience in mobile development and architecture design, coupled with a zeal for providing quality solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Conceive comprehensive mobile solutions consistent with business goals and technical demands
  • Design architecture blueprints, craft technical specifications, and plan system integration for mobile apps
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks applicable to mobile development, keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices to suggest appropriate technologies for project execution
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to establish project scope, requirements, and timelines while cultivating a cooperative environment to promote innovation and high-quality mobile solution delivery
  • Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to confirm architectural decisions and showcase the viability of proposed solutions with iterations based on feedback and test results
  • Perform code reviews to confirm alignment with architectural guidelines, coding norms, and best practices while implementing QA processes to address any issues early in the development cycle
  • Enhance mobile application efficiency, scalability, and resilience by pinpointing and resolving performance bottlenecks
  • Apply security best practices to safeguard mobile applications against threats and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards concerning mobile app security
  • Write technical documentation, draft architecture diagrams, and prepare user guides for mobile solutions alongside offering training and guidance to development teams on architectural principles, patterns, and techniques
  • Pursue continuous enhancement initiatives to ameliorate development practices, tools, and automation while proactively seeking ways to streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Documented history as an Android/iOS Technical Lead or similar capacity with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in mobile application development
  • Proficiency in mobile platforms such as iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks including React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin
  • Competency in mobile development languages and technologies including Swift, Kotlin, Java, Objective-C, JavaScript
  • In-depth understanding of mobile architecture patterns like MVVM, MVP, MVC, and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on exposure to mobile development tools, IDEs, and version control systems like Xcode, Android Studio, Git
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities for addressing complex technical challenges in mobile apps
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical ideas to non-technical audiences
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to lead diverse teams and foster collaborative achievements
