Join our remote team as a Middle Ruby Developer and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions in the Software and Hi-Tech industry. As a Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using Ruby and its frameworks. You will also work with the team to implement and maintain a Microservice Architecture Pattern, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our software. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using Ruby and its frameworks
- Implement and maintain a Microservice Architecture Pattern, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test REST APIs
- Ensure the quality of software applications through testing and debugging
- Contribute to the development of software documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating your proficiency in Ruby and its frameworks
- Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture Pattern and its implementation in cloud environments
- Experience in developing REST APIs, including their design, implementation, and testing
- Excellent understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Good understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with modern SPA frameworks such as React or Angular, highlighting your ability to work with front-end technologies
- Experience building React on Rails approach, showcasing your ability to integrate different technologies into a single application
