Our company is seeking a talented Middle Ruby Developer to join our remote team, contributing to the development of innovative software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Ruby and other relevant technologies. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Ruby and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user manuals
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating expertise in software development and design patterns
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, or other Ruby frameworks
  • Proficiency in using Git for version control
  • Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
  • Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, crucial for meticulous coding efforts
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
