Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Ruby and other relevant technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user manuals
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating expertise in software development and design patterns
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, or other Ruby frameworks
- Proficiency in using Git for version control
- Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
- Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, crucial for meticulous coding efforts
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
