We are seeking a skilled Middle Ruby Developer to join our remote team, working on an exciting new project that aims to revolutionize the way we interact with technology. As a Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions, utilizing your expertise in Ruby programming and Git version control. You will be working alongside a talented team of developers, collaborating to deliver innovative and efficient solutions to complex technical problems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Ruby programming and its associated frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative and efficient solutions to complex technical problems
  • Manage code repositories using Git version control and GitHub, ensuring code quality and consistency
  • Automate software development processes using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating expertise in Ruby programming and its associated frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails
  • Proficiency in Git version control and GitHub, enabling you to manage code repositories and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, showcasing your ability to automate software development processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, allowing you to identify and address technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with (pragmatic) microservices or kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, showcasing your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
