We are looking for an skilled Middle Ruby Developer to join our team, working on an exciting project that aims to revolutionize the way people interact with technology. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web applications using Ruby frameworks such as Rails or Sinatra
- Design and optimize databases for high performance and scalability using Redis and MySQL
- Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to integrate front-end technologies with back-end systems
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and automated testing
- Contribute to the development of new features and improvements, helping us to create a unique and engaging shopping experience for our customers
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Continuously learn and improve your skills, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Ruby development
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating your expertise in Ruby language and its frameworks
- Experience in working with Redis, showcasing your ability to design and implement complex applications
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, crucial for debugging and troubleshooting
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in working with ReactJS
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL
