Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the project's core functionality using Ruby on Rails and other relevant frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code review, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Maintain and optimize the project's database structure and performance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating your expertise in Ruby on Rails and other relevant frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of software development principles and best practices, including code review, testing, and debugging
- Experience in working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Ruby on Rails, React, Postgres experience
- AWS familiarity
- Proficiency in designing software services
- Experience building and maintaining software services that serve 100+ transactions per second
