We are seeking a skilled Middle Ruby Developer to join our dynamic team in the software and hi-tech industry. As a Middle Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions using Ruby and related frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions using Ruby and related frameworks, ensuring that they meet the needs of our clients and end-users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop solutions, and ensure that they are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Test and debug software solutions, using tools like RSpec, Capybara, or similar
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, ensuring that it is accurate and up-to-date
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Ruby and related frameworks, and share your knowledge with your colleagues
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating your proficiency in Ruby language and related frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails
- Solid experience in ReactJS, MySQL, and Git, enabling you to develop high-quality software solutions
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture
- Experience in testing and debugging software solutions, using tools like RSpec, Capybara, or similar
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that your work is accurate and meets the highest standards
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
- Experience in other programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience in working with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
