We are seeking a remote Middle OpenEdge Specialist to join our Managed Services team. Our team is responsible for supporting and developing ERP systems that run on the OpenEdge ABL (OpenEdge Advanced Business Language) technology stack. This is a unique opportunity to work on a significant transition project and be part of a leading technology team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving OpenEdge based solutions and developing new integrations with other systems. Additionally, you will be part of an initiative to build a team of high-performing professionals who can act as a unified technology partner.
Responsibilities
- Investigate production issues and conduct analysis & investigation of the application data
- Work with configurations and support & maintain the existing applications
- Communicate with key stakeholders
- Implement integrations with new systems
- Develop CHUI and/or GUI
- Collaborate with the team to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Progress OpenEdge (v11+), ABL/4GL
- Solid working experience in CHUI application development and GUI experience with progress OOP
- Experience in ERP solutions integration, preferably in retail logistics/supply chain domains
- Ability to understand requirement documents, analyze them, and implement solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Upper-Intermediate level of English language proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience in Application support
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP Supply Chain Management, SAP Integration Suite
