We are looking for a dedicated Middle .NET Developer to join our remote team, contributing to the development and maintenance of our fintech solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining .NET applications, with a focus on adding new functionality and improving existing code. You will participate in the migration of existing code on .NET from version 7 to 11, and create procedures and processes in collaboration with the tech team. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices
- Participate in the migration of existing code on .NET from version 7 to 11, and contribute to the refactoring of existing code
- Create procedures and processes in collaboration with the tech team, and oversee that those processes are followed
- Participate in adding code quality analysers, proper logging, and unit test coverage, ensuring the highest standards of code quality
- Collaborate with the tech team to identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure seamless integration with third-party APIs
- Contribute to the development of new fintech solutions, leveraging your expertise in .NET development and fintech
Requirements
- Proven experience in fintech, with 2+ years of experience in .NET development
- Expertise in .NET Framework and ASP.NET Web API, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Docker
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and management
- Experience in refactoring existing code and adding new functionality, while ensuring code quality and unit test coverage
- Ability to create procedures and processes in collaboration with the tech team, and oversee that those processes are followed
- Good understanding of DevOps culture, with a focus on code quality analysers and proper logging
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication with the distributed cross-national team
Nice to have
- Experience in .NET 6, C# 11, and cloud infrastructures
- Good understanding of fintech, including payments, cards, transactions
