We are looking for a Middle Manual Tester who will be working on the existing remote coaching project to provide great quality for both mobile and web applications.
The candidate will join a team that develops and maintains the system which helps enterprise companies to get person-to-person coaching sessions for their employees at any time via mobile or web apps.
Responsibilities
- Writing functional tests and setting up test harnesses application and services under test
- Writing and reviewing test cases based on Agile stories and/or product requirements
- Interact and collaborate directly with software developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure proper development and quality of applications
- Interact with Software Development Automation Engineers, QA members and customer’s technical leaders to understand system functions and write test cases
- Align with software testing best practices
- Participate in efforts to share testing technology and expertise within the company
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant working experience
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent preferred
- Understanding of REST and demonstrated experience with REST APIs testing
- Experience with mobile, web testing
- Experience in using environment tools such as JIRA, Github, Jenkins, TestRail (as a Test management tool)
- Experience with SQL and an understanding of relational databases and architecture
- Experience with web services and validating the xml output
- Strong experience in client-server applications testing
- Strong experience working with SDLC frameworks (Agile, SCRUM)
- Strong background in QA processes and procedures
