We are hiring a Middle Management Delivery Manager - GCP Cloud to steer complex cloud migration and modernization programs and deliver measurable outcomes. You will lead cross-functional teams across discovery through transition to operations, aligning delivery plans with client stakeholders and governance. Responsibilities
- Own full programme delivery across discovery, assessment, landing-zone readiness, wave planning, migration execution, cutover, warranty, and transition to operations with accountability for Project/People/Account Management
- Lead distributed, cross-functional teams and control scope, timelines, budget, staffing, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive governance while considering Data Privacy, Security, IP & Responsible AI activities
- Review solution architectures and migration strategies and confirm application dependency maps, migration waves, security, resilience, performance, operability, and cost assumptions
- Chair readiness and technical governance forums such as ARB, WAR etc. and drive Go/No-Go decisions while coordinating cutover, rollback, business validation, warranty, and service acceptance
- Partner with client leaders across business, security, infrastructure, application, data, and operations to convert technical constraints into clear business impacts and decision options
- Establish and track delivery metrics including migration throughput, schedule variance, defect leakage, cutover success, availability, performance, cloud spend, and benefits realization
- Drive cloud governance and FinOps adoption, including policy, tagging, cost allocation, budget controls, rightsizing, and optimization backlogs
- Support presales, estimation, solution shaping, delivery assurance, account growth, and capability development and coach delivery managers and technical leads
- Use approved enterprise GenAI tools responsibly to improve planning, reporting, risk analysis, knowledge management, and stakeholder communication while protecting data and intellectual property
Requirements
- Extensive IT delivery experience, including 5+ years leading large cloud transformation, application modernization, infrastructure, or migration programmes across multiple workstreams using Agile & Hybrid methodologies
- Practical knowledge of GCP resource hierarchy (organizations, folders, projects), IAM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Cloud KMS, and backup/DR concepts
- Working familiarity with migration strategy patterns such as rehost, replatform, and refactor
- Ability to govern identity, network segmentation, key management, logging, vulnerability remediation, backup/DR, business continuity, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in RAID management, financial governance, change control, and executive reporting
- Hands-on experience with project tracking systems (Jira/Confluence/ADO/Project) and usage of Gen AI tools for Delivery Management
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containers/Kubernetes (GKE), APIs, integration patterns, and SRE/observability fundamentals
- Proven ability to facilitate architecture reviews and explain technical trade-offs, costs, risks, and migration decisions to business and engineering audiences
Nice to have
- Exposure to Google Cloud Architecture Framework, Cloud Foundation Toolkit, landing-zone/foundation programmes, and Google Cloud migration methodologies
- Google Cloud certification such as Google Cloud Digital Leader, Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent
- Programme-management certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, SAFe, ITIL, or equivalent
