We are currently looking for a remote Middle JavaScript Software Engineer with 2+ years of JavaScript experience and strong ReactJS skills to join our team.
The customer is a global online news and information provider. The company provides clients with financial news and information products and services, and comprises of newswires, websites, newspapers, apps, newsletters, databases, magazines, and video.
The major focus is on providing advertisement solutions for multiple customer’s products.
Responsibilities
- Implementing new product functionality
- Maintenance of an existing codebase
- Participation in Code Review sessions
- Contributing to the application architecture design
- Participation in daily meetings and discussion of current issues
Requirements
- 2+ years of JavaScript experience
- Strong ReactJS skills
- Solid background in web development (HTML5, CSS3, JSON)
- Hands-on experience with at least one of modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
- Proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including web development, service-oriented architecture, cloud computing, test driven development, CI/CD
- English level proficiency B1
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Node.js
- Experience with Redux, Redis, Jenkins, Docker, AWS or other cloud or container-based application deployment
